Find
Love
Everybody needs love; it is essential
for our mental health in the same way that air, water and food
are essential for our physical health. A major misconception is that
we need to look for love. Love is not out there; it is not outside of us.
Love is in every one of us, and all we need to do is recognize it and let
it shine.
If
you can't love yourself, you can't love anybody else.
Loving
yourself brings light to your face and will tell people around you that
you can love. This is a magnet that draws people to you. Loving
yourself means that you are confident, content and happy. People will like
being around you. It will be easy for you to make fiends.
To
be able to love yourself you need to recognize who you are, not who you
want to be or who others want you to be. Spend time alone, not reading,
not listening to music and especially not watching TV. Be alone in your
head too. Don’t think, don’t plan, don’t worry, just pay attention
to your self. Listen to your heart; listen to your breath. Try to spend at
least 15 minutes twice a day in this peaceful and relaxing state. In time
you will feel and know your self, and you will feel joy and love. It is
also important to practice loving every day.
