In my opinion

Cure cold and flu

Cold and flu are not a very serious illnesses, but are very bothersome. A normal healthy person should be able to get through them in 2 to 3 days. More sensitive people with weak immune system will go for weeks with stuffy nose and leftover cough.

Cold and flu are both caused by a virus. These viruses are more active in wintertime when people are more sensitive, and spend more time in enclosed spaces. Viruses are spread mostly by touch, but can also be spread by air on a very close distance. There is no medicine that can fight these viruses, so doctors are not much help.

There are few things we can do to help our selves.

Don’t get cold or flu:

Eat healthy food and exercise to make your immune system strong.

Wash your hands very often.

Stay at the safe distance from people that sneeze or cough

Take a good multivitamin during winter.

Make sure you spend at least 15 minutes of every sunny day outside and allow your body to make vitamin D

If you already got cold or flu, there are few things that will help.

Take a lot of vitamin C complex with bioflavonoids. Take 5,000 to 10,000 mg a day.

Foods rich with vitamin C are red peppers, sauerkraut and citrus fruits.

Drink a lot of water

Drink freshly squeezed lemonade, or eat fresh lemon.

Drink tea with lemon and honey.

Use rubbing alcohol to massage your neck

If your nose is stuffed, don’t sniff, try to breathe very slowly and lightly on your nose for a few minutes until it opens up.

Go to bad after you drink a hot tea, cover yourself until you are so hot that you sweat. Don’t uncover yourself until your sweat is gone all the way. If you do this at night, don’t get up until the next morning. Get up and take a hot shower. You should feel all better.

As with every other obstacle in your life, your positive attitude is essential for fast recovery
